We have 3 objectives when handling a call on a bail agent's account.
Our first objective is to get all the initial information you need.
When a call comes in for you, we automatically bring up an electronic message ticket in our computerized system. We have already programmed the questions you want us to ask. For instance: name, name of jail, bond amount, etc. Any information you need, we can add to your message ticket.
Our second objective is to stop your caller from contacting a competitor.
So, we patch the caller through to your on call agent's cell phone (we've just eliminated a call to a competitor). At this point, we enter the name of your on call agent on the electronic message ticket and, with a keystroke email the message ticket to your office computer.
You now have the information you asked us to get to open a file on the defendant, plus the name of your agent to whom we gave the information.
This fulfills our third objective which is to make certain no information falls through the cracks.
