Answering Service and Emergency Calls Relating to the Elevator Industry
In an emergency, our operators are trained to hunt down the primary contact. If they do not answer, they go down the back up list and continue that procedure until the emergency is cleared.
Calls originating from an elevator phone are presumed to be emergency in nature and are treated as such with our operators handing off every call to a supervisor who takes charge of personally handling the call.
Callers are kept on the line and calmed by the supervisor who keeps them informed of our progress, while our other staff members contact on call personnel.
